This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement
of Department of National Defence (the "Client") to purchase 8
TB external Ethernet Network Storage Servers. The storage
servers are required to provide additional data storage space
for mobile workstations as part of Deployable Geospatial Support
Systems (DGSS). The requirement includes the supply, delivery,
documentation, provision of 3 years on-site warranty and
software support. It is intended to result in the award of a
contract for 4 years and will include the following:
The initial purchase of forty (40) 8 TB external Ethernet
Network Storage Servers; and
An option to purchase up to an additional forty (40) 8 TB
external Ethernet Network Storage Servers within a period of 1
year from date of Contract, as and when requested.
Delivery must be made on or before March 28, 2013 for the
initial purchase requirement.
