Veterans Affairs Canda has a requirement for courier services
within the Greater Vancouver Area. The requirement also includes
an intercity run from Victoria to Vancouver.
The work includes regular pick-up and delivery of mail products
on pre-established routes. These services are on both on a
scheduled basis and as and when requested. The contract will be
for one firm year with up to three additional option periods of
one year.
Trade agreements
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Canada-Chile,
Canada-Peru and Canada-Colombia trade agreements.
Evaluation and Selection Methodology
The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be
recommended for award of a contract.
Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt
of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing
may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
