ELECTRONIC BOARD FROM 17 SEPTEMBER 2012 TO 25 SEPTEMBER 2012.
MAILROOM SERVICE
The Department of the Environment requires two individuals to
perform daily mailroom duties for five (5) hours Monday to
Friday between the hours of 09:00AM to 14:30PM.
The period of the Contract is from 1 November 2012 to 31 October
2013.
Services include:
Sorting, distributing, delivery and pick-up of daily incoming
mail and parcels in a centrally designated mailroom;
Delivery/pick-up of outgoing mail throughout a large building
complex;
Application of appropriate postage for outgoing mail using
modern semi-automated mail machinery;
Other minor duties will also include shredding of classified
documentation which requires destruction on-site;
Reading and sorting by numerical and alphabetical order.
Physical Requirements:
The tasks require significant walking independently throughout
the complex (7 floors) pushing a mail delivery cart. Lifting
small parcels and returning them to the central mailroom as
outgoing mail for processing.

Security Requirements:
The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance
of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial
Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government
Services Canada (PWGSC).
The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive
work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted
or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
There are multiple Certifications required by bid solicitation
closing for this requirement.
