PWGSC/ITSB has a requirement for hardware maintenance services
for its IP 4000 High Speed Print Line systems and related
equipment. The printers are located across Canada. The period
of the requirement is for a two year period with Canada
retaining the irrevocable option to extend the contract for
three (3) additional one year periods.
The supplier is to make any adjustment, revision, repair or
replacement of any malfunctioning parts to maintain the
equipment in good working order and up-to-date revisions to the
Original Equipment Manufacturer's mandatory specifications.
The supplier must have in place an escalation procedures for
problems resolution which cannot be resolved within a reasonable
timeframe from the making of a service request. The supplier
shall be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of all
equipment and IP 4000 AIZ Control Unit Software Operating
Systems, Firmware/Microcode.
The supplier must provide personnel that are certified to
provide maintenance and support on the equipment identified
below and the necessary equipment and tools for the testing,
troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all equipment.
The supplier must be an authorized service provider by the OEM
which must be evidenced by the completion of an OEM
Certification for the hardware maintenance.

procurement.
