Requirement: Request for Regional Individual Standing Offer
(RISO) for the provision of ground handling services,
specifically for washing and cleaning Hercules Aircrafts at 8
Wing Trenton, Ontario on an as and when requested basis in
accordance with the attached Annex "A".
The user of the resulting RISO will be Department of National
Defence, 8 Wing, Canadian Forces Base Trenton, Trenton, Ontario,
Canada.
The period for placing call-ups against the Standing Offer shall
be from Date of Issue to 30 November, 2013 with option to extend
the Standing Offer for two additional periods of one year each.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on December
13, 2012 at 1400 hrs, 1 Hangar, Building 575, 76 Westwin Ave., 8
Wing Trenton. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting
Authority no later than 2 day(s) before the scheduled visit to
confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who
will attend. Bidders who do not confirm attendance and provide
the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend as required will
not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to
sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment but
they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.
