Requirement:
For the provision, on a specified schedule and in specified
quantities, meals delivered to the living units for patients at
the Regional Psychiatric Centre. Such services will include the
provision of food commodities, food services staff and
managerial services using CSC facilities and equipment. Meals
are to be prepared on site.
Period of Contract: from date of award to 31 March 2014
Option Periods: Four (4) six-month periods
Mandatory Site Visit:
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
site visit to be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 10:00 am
at CSC - Regional Psychiatric Centre, 2520 Central Avenue,
Saskatoon, SK. Bidders must submit the attached Institutional
Access CPIC Clearance Request at least 5 working days prior to
the site visit. Failure to submit this form will result in
individuals being denied access to the site visit. Bidders must
communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than five
(5) days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and
provide the names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will
be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm
in their bids that they have attended the site visit. Bidders
who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
alternative appointment and their bids will be rejected as
non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Contract Financial Security: The successful contractor must be
able to provide a Performance Bond valued at $200,000.00
as security for this contract.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
