Full description

Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Small Craft Harbours (SCH), requires the services of a qualified engineering consulting firm to undertake a sedimentation study and conceptual options analysis for Rondeau Harbour (Erieau), Ontario.

The work includes data review, field investigations (e.g., bathymetric survey, sediment sampling), and analysis of hydrodynamic conditions, wave climate, and sediment transport processes. The Consultant will assess shoreline evolution and Barrier Beach behaviour, and develop and evaluate conceptual options for the repair, modification, relocation, or removal of the existing east breakwater.

The Consultant will prepare technical reports and Class D cost estimates to support decision-making. This requirement is limited to study and conceptual design services; detailed design and construction are not included.
