The Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health (CSCHAH) and the JC Wilt Infectious Diseases Research Centre (JWIDRC) have a requirement for carpentry and bricklaying work.
Work under this Standing Offer covers the repair, modification, maintenance, demolition, installation and assembly for finish carpentry and millwork, walls and ceiling finishes (t-bar and drywall), doors and hardware, laboratory bench work, minor exterior finishes, and concrete / bricklayer work in the general areas of the facilities aswell at the containment levels 2, 3, 3+ and 4 laboratories at the CSCHAH on an as required basis. It is anticipated that only 1 firm will be issued a standing offer.
The period of the Standing Offer will be for a five (5) year period.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: It is recommended that the Offeror or a representative of the Offeror visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 1015 Arlington Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba on September 29th, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00h CDT, in the Orientation Room. Attendees will be required to report to the main reception desk prior to the start time, and provide photo identification.
Offerors should communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 14:00h CDT,September 27th, 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Offerors will be required to sign an attendance sheet.
This procurement contains MANDATORY requirements. Failure to comply will result in rejection of your tender.
