Services to include, but not limited to, regular cleaning and as and when requested services through Work Authorizations. PERIOD OF CONTRACT The period of the Contract is from the date of contract award to 31 March 2024 inclusive. SECURITY REQUIREMENTThere is a security requirement associated with this bid solicitation.New personnel security clearance requests will require mandatory fingerprints to initiate the criminal record check. The validity of an existing personnel security clearance issued by the Government of Canada is not affected by the change in the criminal record check process. Applicants who require a personnel security clearance are responsible for all costs associated with fingerprinting.OPTIONAL SITE VISIT It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Halifax Citadel, bidders are to meet at the security office inside the parade on 09 March 2023. The site visit will begin at 10:00 AST.Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 12:00 AST on 07 March 2023 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders must also complete and submit a certification.Bidders who do not confirm attendance, provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend, or who do not complete and submit the above certification as required will not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet. No alternative appointment will be given to bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative. Bidders who do not participate in the visit will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
