The Contractor shall provide occupational therapy (OT)
consultation services on behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)
for the Campbellton District Office (Nouveau-Brunswick). The
Contractor is to provide one qualified Occupational Therapist to
provide all the services outlined in the Statement of Work. The
services will be provided during the period from 01 April 2012,
or date of award, to 31 March 2014, with the option to renew the
term by up to 2 additional periods of 1 year each.
The requirement is on an "as and when requested basis", with a
minimum 24 hour notification by the VAC Project Authority. The
maximum estimated utilization for the Campbellton District
Office is 780 hours per year. The minimum contract value for
the requirement is 25% of the maximum estimated utilization.
The proposed person to provide OT services shall meet the
following qualifications:
Graduation with a degree in occupational therapy from a
recognized university;
A certificate of current registration as a Occupational
Therapist in the province where the work is to be performed;
24 months of full time experience in the last sever (7) years
providing occupational therapy to adults as a Registered
Occupational Therapist;
Experience with the use of personal computers and software in a
Windows environment including word processing, electronic mail
and Internet;
Must hold a valid driver's license in the province where the
work is to be performed or equivalent. An equivalent is a valid
driver's license that has been issued by a Province of Canada
and could be used to obtain a drivers license in the province
where the work is to be performed;
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in the English
and French languages, both oral and written.
The proposed person to provide OT services must meet all other
mandatory requirements, and will be evaluated in accordance with
Point Rated Requirements.
