Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to retain the services of a Construction Manager (CM) to provide advisory and general contractor services for the NRCan Prince Albert Satellite Station bundled projects. This project is a grouping of five distinct projects for replacement and/or upgrades to various building systems in the Prince Albert Satellite Station main operations building, as more fully described in the Terms of Reference (TOR).
Services required for this project, but not limited to, are as follows:
1. Advisory Support Services,
2. Cost Management Services,
3. Schedule Management Services,
4. Risk Management Services,
5. Quality Management Services,
6. CommissioningServices,
7. Tendering Services,
8. General Contractor Services, and
9. General Construction and Contract Administration Services.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be an optional site visit on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11.00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Prince Albert Satellite Station main building reception in Bucklands, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority three (3) days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.
Site direction:
From the intersection of 2 Avenue West and Marquis Road (Prince Albert);
Drive North, over the river, past Riverside Drive;
Turn left onto HTP (highway) 3 and 55;
Drive West for 17km (19mins);
Turn left into unnamed road (see road sign prior), this leads to the Prince Albert Satellite Station main building.
Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms, special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing, and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid.
