Bidders are hereby informed that this procurement is subject to
the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement, Article 24 - Government
Contracts.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) intends to
retain the services of a Contractor in the capacity of
Construction Manager (CM) for the provision of Advisory and
Support Services and the completion of General Contractor (GC)
Work for the construction of the Canadian High Arctic Research
Station in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, as more fully described in
the Terms of Reference.
A bidders' conference will be held at the PWGSC office, 167
Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on October 30, 2012. The
conference will begin at 1:00 PM CDT. Interested bidders are to
meet in the front lobby area. The scope of the requirement
outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the
conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended
that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a
representative.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders
should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, Daniel
McRuer (Email: d••••••••@••••••••.••.ca), the names of the
person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish
to table at least 5 calendar days before the scheduled
conference.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the bidders' conference will be included as an amendment to
the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be
precluded from submitting a bid.
Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms and
special instructions which are available directly from the MERX
site.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all
amendments issued prior to bid closing have been obtained and
addressed in the submitted bid.
