Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC)requires Project Management services through all stages of design, construction, and post-construction of four school buildings and renovation of two existing school buildings located in the territories of God’s Lake First Nation, Manto Sipi Cree Nation, Bunibonibee Cree Nation, and Wasagamack First Nation.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
i. Retaining, and entering into a contract with, an architectural firm which shall serve as the prime consultant, and which shall provide architectural and engineering Services to the Project Manager. The party that provides these services is referred to in this RFP as the Design Consultant.
ii. managing the work of the Design Consultant in accordance with the services described in the Design Consultant Request for Proposal Document, which is included in Annex 10.
iii. hiring the Commissioning Authority, and Fit-up Contractor, entering into contract with the Commissioning Authority, and Fit-up Contractor, and managing the work in accordance with the services described in the respective RFPs.
PWGSC is responsible for the management of the RFP and bid evaluationprocesses only. The resulting Funding Agreement will be issued by INAC. INAC will be responsible for all the Funding Agreement management.
