Nature of Requirements:

Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada requires a Contractor to provide
all supervision, labour, materials, supplies, equipment, and
transportation required to carry out janitorial cleaning
services at the Beef Research Farm, located in Kapuskasing,
Ontario.

The period of the contract is from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014
inclusive.

Mandatory Site Visit
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the site and examine the scope of work and the
existing conditions. The site visit will be held on April 4,
2012 at 11:00 a.m.,
Bidders are to meet at the Beef Research Farm, Main Office
Building located at 12 Ballantyne Road, Kapuskasing, Ontario.

Bidders who, for any reason, cannot attend at the specified date
and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view
the site and their bids, therefore, will be rejected as
non-compliant. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

There is a security provision associated with the requirement,
as follows:
Before award of a contract, the following conditions must be met:

The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance
of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial
Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government
Services Canada (PWGSC).

The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive
work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted
or approved by CISD/PWGSC.

Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be
awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.

The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the:
Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if
applicable), attached at Annex C;
Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition).
