JANITORIAL SERVICES

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for
janitorial services for the Chief Petty Officers/Petty Officers
and Wardroom Complex (S105), Russell House Single Officer's
Quarters (S85) and Lorne Terrace Senior Officer's Residence
(S52) for Stadacona Base, CFB Halifax. Work under this service
contract comprises the furnishing of all labour, material,
equipment, tools and supervision required for the provision of
janitorial services.

The period of the Contract will be for 3 years with the option
to extend up to 2 additional periods of 1 year each.

This procurement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade
(AIT) ; North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA); World
Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement
(WTO-AGP).

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on July 20 at 09:30 at the entrance to Juno
Tower, Building 205, Stadacona Base, CFB Halifax, NS. Bidders
must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than
three (3) days (July 17, 2012) before the scheduled visit to
confirm attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who
will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance
form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have
attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment and
their bids will be rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications
or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit
will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

This requirement has provisions for Contract Security. The full
