Janitorial Services

SERVICE TO BE PERFORMED
To supply all labour, material, equipment and transportation
required to provide janitorial services at Service Canada,
located at 721 Centre Street, Espanola, Ontario, for Public
Works and Government Services Canada, during the period from the
date of award to October 31, 2013, with two (2) one (1) year
option periods.
SITE VISIT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on Tuesday,
November 27th, 2012 at 10:00a.m. at Service Canada located at
721 Centre Street, Espanola (Ontario). Bidders are requested to
communicate with the Contracting Authority before the scheduled
visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an
attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment but
they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.
SECURITY
1. At the date of bid closing, the following conditions must be
met:
(a) the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance
as indicated in Part 6-Resulting Contract Clauses;
(b) the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to
classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work
site(s) must meet the security requirement as indicated in Part
6- Resulting Contract Clauses;
(c) the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will
require access to classified or protected information, assets or
sensitive work sites.
