1, 2013

Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
The Government Electronic Tendering Service on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders will be the sole authoritative source
for Government of Canada tenders that are subject to trade
agreements or subject to departmental policies that require
public advertising of tenders.

REQUIREMENT: The Contractor is responsible for provision of all
labour, supervision, material, equipment and transportation
required for JANITORIAL SERVICES as scheduled or on an "as and
when requested" basis for the Pacific Agri-Food Research
Centre, Summerland, BC

BEFORE AWARD OF A CONTRACT, the following conditions must be met:

(a) the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance
as indicated in Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;
(b) the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to
classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work
site(s) must meet the security requirement as indicated in Part
6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;
(c) the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will
require access to classified or protected information, assets or
sensitive work sites.

2. BIDDERS ARE REMINDED TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED SECURITY
CLEARANCE PROMPTLY. Any delay in the award of a contract to
allow the successful bidder to obtain the required clearance
will be at the entire discretion of the Contracting Authority.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT: 01 AUG 2013 - 31 JUL 2016 (three/03 years)
with option to extend for two/02 years in one/01 year options.

SITE VISIT - MANDATORY: A mandatory site visit will be held on
Tuesday, 28 MAY 2013 at 1030 AM . Bidders who, for any
reason, cannot attend at the specified date and time will not be
given an alternative appointment to view the site and their
bids, therefore, will be rejected as non-compliant. NO
EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
