JANITORIAL SERVICES - FRASER BORDER
REQUIREMENT: The Contractor is responsible for provision of all labour, supervision, material, equipment and transportation required for JANITORIAL SERVICES as scheduled and on an ?as and when requested? basis for Fraser Border Crossing, Fraser, British Columbia.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The period of the Contract is for a ONE/01 year period from the date of Contract award with the irrevocable option to extend for THREE/03 additional ONE/01 year periods.
TRADE AGREEMENTS: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
DEBRIEFINGS: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of the receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: It is OPTIONAL that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a site visit to be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Fraser Border Crossing, Yukon Hwy 65.7 Km. Fraser, British Columbia, in the lobby.
Bidders are requested to communicate, IN WRITING, with the Contracting Authority no later than FIVE/05 calendar days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the full names of the (maximum of) TWO/02 person(s) who will attend. This is to meet security and transportation requirements. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site visit. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT.
This notice is to advise ALL interested bidders that in order to be awarded a contract which contains a security requirement, all bidders MUST hold a valid Security Clearance granted or approved by PWGSC Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) at the level indicated in this solicitation document.
Should the bidder not currently hold a valid Security Clearance or require the level to be upgraded, PWGSC will sponsor the bidder.
