The Department of National Defence has a requirement for
janitorial services for Stadacona Base, CFB Halifax, Nova
Scotia. Work of this contract comprises the furnishing of all
labour, materials, tools, equipment and transportation required
for the complete and satisfactory janitorial services as
specified herein. This requirement has provisions for Contract
Security. The full requirements are detailed in the solicitation
document.

The period of the Contract will be for a One (1) year contract
with the option to extend up to 3 additional periods of one (1)
year each.

1. Code of Conduct Certifications - Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification

1.1 Bidders must submit before contract award:

(a) a complete list of names of all individuals who are
currently directors of the Bidder;

(b) a properly completed and signed form Consent to a Criminal
Record Verification (PWGSC-TPSGC 229), for each individual
named in the list.

Security

This notice is to advise ALL interested bidders that in order to
be awarded a contract which contains a security requirement, all
bidders MUST hold a valid Security Clearance granted or approved
by PWGSC Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD) at the
level indicated in this solicitation document. Should the bidder
not currently hold a valid Security Clearance or require the
level to be upgraded, PWGSC will sponsor the bidder. Please
submit your written request with the following information to

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).

Site Visit: It is recommended that the Bidder or a
representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements
have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will
be held on Wednesday October 3rd, at 9:00am. Bidders are to meet
at CFB Stadacona, Building S21. Bidders are requested to
communicate with FCE Janitorial Inspector Lionel Brine AT (902)
722-4674 OR or email at L••••••••@••••••.••.ca. 48 hours
prior to visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of
the person(s) and phone numbers who will attend. Bidders may be
requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend
or send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a
bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation
resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment
to the bid solicitation.
