Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada Semiarid Prairie Agricultural
Research Centre (SPARC) located at Swift Current, Saskatchewan
requires the provision of all materials/supplies, equipment,
labour and supervision necessary to perform janitorial services
as detailed in the Request for Proposal.

The Semiarid Prairie Agricultural Research Centre comprises of
the following buildings totaling approximately 87,000 square
feet: main building; conference facility; crop services
building; main shop; carpenters shop; L.B. Thomson Place; and,
AESB Warehouse.

This requirement contains a Security Requirement.

Contract Financial Security is required.

Contract Period:
Date of Contract to February 28, 2015

With three additional option periods of one (1) year each, from
01 March 2015 to 29 February 2016; 01 March 2016 to 28 February
2017; and, 01 March 2017 to 28 February 2018.

Optional Site Visit:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on January
16, 2013, at 1:30 pm at Semiarid Prairie Agricultural Research
Centre Main Building #75 located at 1 Airport Road in Swift
Current, Saskatchewan. Bidders are requested to communicate with
the Contracting Authority two day(s) before the scheduled visit
to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s)
who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance
form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will
not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be
precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes
to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Debriefings:
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the
request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of
receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The
debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
