Summary:
The Department of National Defence requires industrial cleaning
services for various Fleet Maintenance Cape Scott Facilities, in
addition to HMC Ships, Submarines and CFAV Vessels.
The period of the Contract is from June 29, 2013 to June 30,
2015 inclusive with the option for three (3) additional one (1)
year periods under the same conditions.
Security Requirement:
There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement.
Code of Conduct:
Pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2003 and 2004,
Bidders must submit a complete list of names of all individuals
who are currently directors of the Bidder. Furthermore, as
determined by the Special Investigations Directorate,
Departmental Oversight Branch, each individual named on the list
may be requested to complete a Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification form and related documentation.
Mandatory Site Visit:
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on Thursday, April 4 2013 at 13:30 at HMC
Dockyard's Rainbow Gate.
Mandatory Criteria:
1. Attendance at the mandatory site visit;
2. Contractor's qualifications in accordance with Annex F,
Mandatory Technical Criteria;
3. Working On-site Supervisors qualifications in accordance with
Annex F, Mandatory Technical Criteria;
4. Submission of prices and rates in accordance with Annex B,
Basis of Payment.
