JANITORIAL SERVICES - STEWART BORDER CROSSING
REQUIREMENT: To provide all labour, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary for janitorial services for Stewart Border Crossing, Stewart BC on a scheduled and on an ?as and when requested? basis in accordance with the details outlined herein and within Annex ?A? Statement of Work attached herein.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The period of the Contract is for a ONE/01 year period from the date of Contract award with the option to extend for THREE/03 additional ONE/01 year periods.
TRADE AGREEMENTS: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
DEBRIEFINGS: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Due to remoteness of the site, arrangements will have to be made to tour the site. Contact PWGSC 1-867-668-2373 to set up a time for a site visit.
ALL VISITS MUST BE COMPLETED AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO BID CLOSING. REQUESTS AFTER THAT DATE MAY NOT BE CONSIDERED.
ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE CONTENT OFTHE SOLICITATION MUST BE DIRECTED IN WRITING TO THE CONTRACTING AUTHORITY HEREIN.
Bidders are requested to communicate, IN WRITING, with the Contracting Authority no later than THREE (03) calendar day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the full names of the (maximum of) TWO/02 person(s) who will attend. This is to meet security and transportation requirements. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site visit. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT
This notice is to advise ALL interested bidders that in order to be awarded a contract which contains a security requirement, all bidders MUST hold a valid Security Clearance granted or approved by PWGSC Canadian IndustrialSecurity Directorate (CISD) at the level indicated in this solicitation document.
Should the bidder not currently hold a valid Security Clearance or require the level to be upgraded, PWGSC will sponsor the bidder.
