Statistics Canada seeks companies to manage phlebotomists’ services by providing personnel for each 6-week site location, per region. The companies will be responsible for recruitment of phlebotomists, scheduling of phlebotomists and finding replacements for staff absences, dealing with employee issues, ensuring that the phlebotomists have the proper certification and accreditation, paying the phlebotomists, and working with the Statistics Canada field team for all phlebotomy issues.
A maximum of five (5) contracts will be awarded (maximum one per region). Regions as described at Appendix 1 to the Statement of Work at Annex A.
The period of the contract will be from the award contract date (estimated to be 28 October 2013) until
31 December 2015, plus an optional period of six (6) months.
Data Collection is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
Data Collection Services is exempt from World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP) and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) under Annex 1001.1b-2, Services, Section B – Exclude coverage.
This procurement is limited to Canadian Services.
