REQUIREMENT: Work under this standing offer includes the
provision of skilled licensed labour, tools, equipment,
supervision and material as requested by the Department of
National Defence, Wing Construction Engineering Contracts, 4
Wing Cold Lake, Cold Lake, Alberta in the form of call ups to
carry out structural and pressure welding services on an "as and
when requested". It is anticipated that only 1 firm will be
issued a standing offer. The standing offer will be issued for a
term of two (2) years from date of issuance.

QUANTITIES: Various

THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT: For further
instructions please consult "Special Instruction to Offeror",
SI10, "Security related requirements" and "Supplementary
Conditions" SC01 Security requirements, document safeguarding
location.

CODE OF CONDUCT: "IMPORTANT NOTICE: New measures related to
Code of Conduct and certifications included in the solicitation
documents requires attention."

SUPPORT THE USE OF APPRENTICES: Through Canada's Economic Action
Plan 2013, the Government of Canada proposes to support the
employment of apprentices in federal construction and
maintenance projects. Please refer to SI12 of solicitation
document for further instructions.

TRADE AGREEMENTS: The proposed requirement is subject to the
provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

DEBRIEFING: After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may
request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing
offers. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer
Authority within 15 working days of receipt of notification that
their offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in
writing, by telephone or in person. The debriefing will include
an outline of the reasons the submission was not successful,
making reference to the evaluation criteria. The confidentiality
of information relating to other submissions will be protected.
