For the purposes of this procurement, Canada is acting as AGENT
for the British Army Training Unit Suffield
For the supply of all material, equipment, labour and
supervision necessary to modify the Prairie Support Vehicle
(PSV) fleet (2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD) for the British
Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS), Canadian Forces Base
Suffield, AB, in accordance with Annex A - Statement of Work
detailed herein, during the period of the contract from date of
contract award to March 31, 2014 inclusive.
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on Thursday October 3, 2013 at 1300 hours at
Bldg 370 LPO Conference room Canadian Forces Base Suffield.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than three (3) days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form.
Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the
site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative
will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will
be rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to
the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation
BATUS' trial Prairie Support Vehicle (PSV) will be available for
inspection and review during this visit.
Mandatory Requirement:
Bidder must be Chevrolet (GM) approved to complete this work in
order to prevent invalidation of the vehicle's warranty. Proof
of such must be submitted with bid or within seven (7) days upon
request.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
