Canada has a requirement for Check Point, or Check Point-certified equivalent Maintenance and Support, software, licences and subscriptions for the existing Network Infrastructure across Canada. All Check Point hardware requires maintenance in the form of replacement that to reduce the risk and restoral time in case of break. All Check Point products require annual software subscription to keep up to date with the vulnerability threat in their respective fields. The contract period for any resulting contract is intended to be 1 year.
This Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP), RFP RAS 14-25226-02, is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a solicitation of bids or tenders and is intended only to establish a list of interested suppliers that possess the qualifications required by SSC for participation in the next phase of the procurement process. No contract will result from this Notice.
Canada reserves the right to cancel the procurement process at any time.
Because the NPP is not a bid solicitation, suppliers who submit a response can choose not to bid on the subsequent bid solicitation.
