Tailoring Services
Background:
The Department of National Defence (DND) at Canadian Forces
Base (CFB) Suffield, Alberta and the British Army Training Unit
- Suffield (BATUS) have a requirement for tailoring services for
military personnel, support staff at the base, cadets, and any
visiting dignitaries as required.
CFB Suffield is the site of several military exercises by DND
and BATUS each year.
The battle group training exercises involve groups of up to
3,000 soldiers training for three week periods approximately 4
- 6 times per year. The peak period for these exercises is April
to November.
During these exercises, and for any other Military events
scheduled on site, DND and BATUS require the services of a
tailor/seamstress.
Scope of the work:
The Contractor must be able to provide all of the services
identified in 'ANNEX A - Statement of Work'.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
