The Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission
(CRTC) has a requirement for the provisioning of a turn-key
solution for Managed Video Conferencing Services (MVS)
consisting of;
On-Demand Video Conferencing, available through a
Contractor-provided dedicated network between CRTC locations;
Shared (Hosted and Non-Hosted) Video Conferencing on an as and
when requested basis; and
Hardware Maintenance and Support Services for CRTC-owned video
conferencing equipment.
This bid solicitation is intended to lead to the award of a
Contract for 2 years with irrevocable options to extend the
Contract period for 2 additional one-year periods
The Supplier must have a minimum of 36 months experience
providing:
Video Conferencing Services; and
Video Conferencing Hardware Maintenance Services.
Although bids will be subject to a preference for Canadian
Content, all potential suppliers capable of meeting the
requirements of this bid solicitation are invited to submit a
bid.
This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
There is also a security requirement associated with this
procurement. The Contractor must hold a vaild Designated
Organization Screening (DOS) with approved Document Safeguarding
at the level of PROTECTED A, issued by the Canadian Industrial
Security Directorate (CISD). The Contractor personnel requiring
access to PROTECTED information, assets or work sites must EACH
hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS granted or approved by CISD.
