This amendment is issued to modify mandatory site visit clause
as follows:
Delete Mandatory Site Visit in its entirety and replace with:
Mandatory Site Visit
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on 30 October 2012 at 9:00am. Bidders are to
meet at the Main Entrance of Victoria Building, 140 Wellington
Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
Mandatory Security Requirement prior to site visit
Due to the nature of the requirement and in order to gain access
to all buildings listed in this requirement, it is mandatory
that the representative/s of the Bidder must have security
clearance at a level of site access or secret. Bidders must
submit the name (legal name) and date of birth (year-month-day)
for each individual that will be attending the site visit to the
Contracting Authority by e-mail at a••••••••@•••••.••.ca
or by facsimile at (819) 956-3600 no later than Wednesday, 24
October, 2012 at 3:00 pm.
Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form at the
beginning of the site visit. Failure to do so will render the
bidder's proposal non-responsive.
It is mandatory that bidders wear safety footwear for the site
visit. Bidders who are not equipped as described will not be
permitted to attend the site visit.
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment and their bids will be rejected
as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.
