To provide Janitorial Services including all labour, materials,
equipment, tools, transportation and supervision necessary for
the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), Canadian Science
Centre for Human and Animal Health (CSCHAH), located at 1015
Arlington and 820 Elgin Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba and any
future site determined by the PHAC as described herein. The
period of the Contract is from 01 November 2012 to 31 October
2014 inclusive with Canada retaining an irrevocable option to
extend the Contract for an additional three (3) consecutive one
(1) year periods.

There is a security requirement associated with this requirement.

The requirement is subject to the provisions the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).

Mandatory Site Visit

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for
site visit to be held on 22 August 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at 1015
Arlington Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bidders must communicate
with the Contracting Authority no later than three (3) day(s)
before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the
names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be
required to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in
their bids that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who
do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
alternative appointment and their bids will be rejected as
non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
