Created in June 2000, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is Canada’s federal health research funding agency. CIHR supports research across the full spectrum of disciplines: biomedical; clinical science; health policy, systems and services; and the social, cultural and environmental factors that affect the health of populations. Researchers from across Canada apply to CIHR for funding to support their research activities. These grant “proposals” are reviewed and rated by committees of experts assembled by CIHR (“peer review”), and only the most highly rated are funded within the budget of CIHR.

The purpose of this RFSO is to establish up to four (4) Standing Offers (SO) with qualified Contractors who can provide meeting rooms, guest rooms, catering services and logistical support to fully accommodate and satisfy the peer review needs of CIHR.
