Full description

The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) is Canada’s national tourism marketing organization. A federal Crown corporation, CTC leads the Canadian tourism industry in marketing Canada as a premier four-season tourism destination, and supports the Canadian economy by generating tourism export revenues. CTC’s approach focuses on those global markets where Canada’s tourism brand leads and yields the highest return on investment. CTC is active in 11 key geographic markets: the new and emerging markets of Brazil, China, India, Japan, Mexico and South Korea, as well as the core markets of Australia, France, Germany, United Kingdom and United States.

This notice serves to advise that the CTC is soliciting proposals through a Negotiated Request for Proposal (the “NRFP”) from proponents able to provide quality printing services for CTC’s China office located in Beijing.

The CTC requires a proponent that is able to:

  • design and print various products for a variety of promotions such as travel guides, pocket guides, brochures, calendars, paper/cloth bags, posters, folders, note books, etc.
  • translate product content from English to Simplified Chinese; and
  • provide storage and delivery services.

The proponent must provide an account manager who is able to attend meetings in person at CTC’s China office in Beijing on a regular basis (approx. once per month), and speak and write in both English and Chinese.

The CTC anticipates entering into negotiations with the selected proponent for a three (3) year period, with an option to extend on an annual basis by CTC for a total period not to exceed another two (2) years, at CTC’s sole discretion.

The deadline for questions is Thursday, January 16, 2014, 15:00 CST.

The closing date and time for this NRFP is Friday, January 24, 2014, 15:00 China Standard Time (January 23, 2014 23:00 Pacific Standard Time)

If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please request a detailed copy of the NRFP by sending an email request to: p••••••••@•••••••.ca.
