Government of Canada is moving its Government Electronic Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders on June 1, 2013
Starting June 1, 2013, federal government tenders (tender notices and bid solicitation documents) will be published and available free of charge on a Government of Canada Web site on Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
The Government Electronic Tendering Service on Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders will be the sole authoritative source for Government of Canada tenders that are subject to trade agreements or subject to departmental policies that require public advertising of tenders.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police J Division (New Brunswick) has a requirement for a contractor to provide CCTV equipment installation and system maintenance services on an “as and when requested” basis. The Offeror must be capable of providing installation services and client training services in both Official Languages, English and French.
J Division has ordered a number of closed-circuit television components for interview rooms and cell blocks for RCMP detachments and offices across New Brunswick. These components must be installed and maintained.
The contractor shall provide and install all necessary wiring, connectors, and RCMP provided CCTV equipment according to Atlantic Region Protective Technical and Security Services (ARPTSS) technical specifications.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries made via telephone will not be responded to.
The estimated cost of this procurement is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00.
Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the MERX services provider. Amendments, if issued, will be available from the MERX provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
This procurement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the World Trade Organization – Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), Canada - Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) and Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement.
