Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires the services of nurses who are certified members of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) and who belong to the Association des infirmières et infirmiers en soins podologiques du Québec (AIISPQ) to provide foot care to diabetic offenders (referred to as clients in this notice of proposed procurement) in the Quebec Region correctional institutions.
Objectives:
Provide foot care services to diabetic clients, as requested, provide advice on self-care, and work with the institution’s interdisciplinary health care team which includes a primary care physician, nursing staff, dietitians, radiology services, dentists, psychiatrists, psychologists and other paramedical professionals.
CSC intends to issue up to three (3) Standing Offers, one for each institution, or any combination thereof. CSC will conduct a separate evaluation for each institution.
Offerors bidding for more than one institution must provide a sufficient number of resources to be able to meet all the needs for all the institutions for which they are bidding.
The Offeror must provide services at the following CSC institutions in the Quebec Region:
1. Donnacona Institution (maximum security)

2. Regional Reception Centre (multiple security levels)

Deliverables:
The Project Authority may at any time ask the Contractor to provide data on health services provided to offenders. This may include the use of report templates provided by the Project Authority.
At the Project Authority’s request, the Contractor must produce a report or contribute to regional reports.
For CSC to fulfill its mandate regarding the provision of health services, the Project Authority may ask the Contractor to include comments on the provision of foot care in reports.
Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.

Duration of Standing Offer and Time Frame for Delivery:
Period of the Standing Offer: The Work is to be performed during the period of standing offer award date to August 31, 2026, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
