Description of the requirement:
Logistics services for Canada-wide in-person engagement activities leading to the development of accessibility legislation.
The primary objectives of the project are to: ensure that venues are secured; that registration is developed, in place and managed for all in-person engagement events, with individual requirements and accommodations addressed; and that services/bookings are well coordinated with the Project Authority.
The engagement process is to be inclusive of all Canadians, including people with disabilities. The accessibility of all events, including communication and other accommodations, will be key priorities throughout the process.
Between September 2016 and February 2017, up to 30 in-person events, including open public sessions, invitational roundtables, and a National Youth Forum are planned.
