Description of Work:
The Government of Canada (GOC) is increasingly adopting Commercial- Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions and decreasing the reliance on custom development as a method of deploying IT capabilities. This shift, coupled with the need to reduce build-and-run costs through consolidation and reuse, is moving the paradigm from building vertically self-contained applications to building integrated solutions horizontally across applications.
As part of Foreign Affairs, trade and Development Canada commitment to the Shared Case Management System (SCMS), the department plans to investigate and implement a standardized, enterprise wide Dynamics platform which wills on-board relationship, case and event management systems and processes to support our clients, users and partners globally. With various GAC clients interested in the MS Dynamics platform the department requires the deep expertise of a supplier to provide an assessment of the software, and make recommendations on how a case management solution may be deployed across multiple groups within the department.
