Description of Work:
The Trial Judicial Administrator (TJA) office of the Federal Court is responsible for scheduling Judges to different assignments/events. The TJA office, up until last July, was using large flip charts to manually enter the scheduling information. It was decided in September 2017 that the manual scheduling process needed to be replaced with an Electronic Judicial Calendar (EJC) application that would allow the TJA office to schedule Judges to assignments/events electronically instead of manually.
In early September 2018, CAS agreed to proceed with further development of the EJC system and develop enhancements which will continue to facilitate the scheduling of assignment and events for the Federal Court. Given the timeframe and workload required, the assistance of contracted resource will be required in order to develop the EJC application enhancements alongside Business Solution team and deploy the needed EJC functionality on time.
In addition, to the assistance for the EJC project, it is anticipated that these resources may contribute some assistance in the completion of the E-Filing project, currently underway.
