Description of Work:
The critical foundational component of Courts Administration Services (CAS)’s desktop infrastructure the Windows 7 Operating System (OS) and the Microsoft (MS) Office suite 2010 will reach end-of-life next year (2019) and must be replaced in order to maintain a secure, stable and accessible desktop service delivery.
In Fact CAS has initiated this year Windows 10 and Office 2016 upgrade project to manage effectively this change at the enterprise level.
The Windows 10 OS and Office 2016 Upgrade project will incorporate the development of a harmonized CAS base image, enhanced security controls, hardware and software compatibility testing, applications packaging for automated deployment, legacy applications remediation, Quality Assurance (QA) testing, Security Assessment and Authorisation (SA&A), Active Directory (AD) & Group Policy Objects (GPO) clean-up and adaptation to the new environment, communication, training and deployment to ~ 1500 devices (tablets, desktops, laptops).
CAS project is planned to be delivered in 2 phases:
Phase 1 - the Discovery and Remediation Phase including the Pilot for the proof of Concept (anticipated timeline is Present to April 2019) and
Phase 2 - the Deployment Phase / Project Roll-out including training (anticipated timeline is April – end of the project in December 2019)
Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories
The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource
