Only TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for Tier 2 in
the National Capital Region and for each category described in a
specific Workstreams under the EN578-055605/E series of Supply
Arrangements (SAs) are eligible to compete. The TBIPS Supply
Arrangement EN578-055605/E is incorporated by reference and
forms part of this bid solicitation, as though expressly set out
in it, subject to any express terms and conditions contained in
this bid solicitation.
Description of requirement
Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) / Chief Information
Officer Branch (CIOB) is going through significant
transformation in the way it supports the delivery of common
shared Government of Canada (GC) information technology (IT)
systems and services. A key initiative that will shape the
direction forward is the Information Technology Transformation
Initiative (ITTI), which has been established in support of the
strategic direction set out by CIOB.
Currently the GC operates a vast array of IT assets spread
across 130-plus departments and agencies, each of which has been
independently managing their respective assets to meet their
individual business needs. This extensive IT infrastructure has
been cobbled together over time as technology has evolved,
driven by changing business needs and resulting in a multitude
of independent vertical silos.
The GC siloed environment is not flexible, responsive or
efficient, and its limitations make it difficult to respond to
government stakeholder needs, expectations and information
integrity and availability. These silos stand as barriers to the
GC IT transformation objectives of standardization,
consolidation and reengineering.
In support of achieving the GC IT transformation objectives, the
ITTI initiative will contribute to the on-going development of
an integrated over-arching GC enterprise plan, design and
architecture.
As such, TBS has identified a need for a team of experienced
consultants in support of ITTI projects.

contract with an irrevocable option to extend the contract
