Description of the requirement:
The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (EC) has a requirement under Work Streams 4 and 6 of the Task Based Informatics Professional Services Supply Arrangement (TBIPS), for the provision of resources in multiple resource categories at various levels.
The Chief Information Officer Branch is responsible for Information Management (IM) and Information Technology (IT) within the Agency, including IT Security. Over the past several years EC has conducted various security activities, including threat and risk assessments and a security program review, as part of an increasing commitment to comply with Government of Canada and Agency policy requirements including the Management of Information Technology Security Standard. Following these activities, IT security priorities have been established. Addressing these priorities requires the support of external resources.
The objective of this Contract is to have the on-going ability to provide system owners with professional services on an “as and when requested” basis throughout the system development life-cycle. On the advice of the IT Security team, system owners will issue TAs to carry out work within the scope of this Statement of Work to support the development, implementation, operation or disposal of IT systems, services or programs.
Security Requirement: Common PS SRCL #19 applies
Minimum Resource Security Required: Secret
Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories.
The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource.
Proposed period of contract:
The proposed period of contract shall be for a period starting at contract award to March 31, 2016 with an option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two additional one-year periods, under the same terms and conditions.
