Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide some sex offenders with a Long Term Supervision Order are released to the Community with a National Parole Board Condition to follow psychiatric treatment to assist in managing their behavior. This type of service requires psychiatrists to have specialized training in the treatment of sexual disorders.
Objectives: The Contractor will provide psychiatric assessments, interventions and consultative services for offenders under the responsibility of the Correctional Service of Canada in the Greater Halifax Area.
Deliverables: Provide a report of findings following the initial assessment as well as reports of follow-up services and provide professional advice to the Case Management Team (Parole Officers and Psychologists) concerning the well being of the patient and the security of staff and the public.
