This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Greater Ontario and Nunavut District in the Ontario Region.

Trade agreement: This procurement is not subject to any trade agreement.

Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers.

Nature of Requirements:

The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) Health Services require the services of a
psychologist for offenders located in the Greater Ontario and Nunavut District in the Ontario Region.

Objectives: Provide essential and non-essential mental health or psychological assessment or any combination of the two, to offenders as a psychologist at the Contractor’s business location in the Greater Ontario and Nunavut District in the Ontario Region and other CSC approved locations, including Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) approved video conferencing devices with prior approval by the Project Authority.

Deliverables: The psychologist must provide psychological assessment or treatment services, or any combination of the two to offenders and collaborate with the interdisciplinary health services team that includes, but is not limited to nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy and other allied healthcare professionals. Collaboration with the case management team is also essential and in community sites, the treatment/supervision team also includes the Parole Officer Supervisor, Parole Officer, and the CSC staff psychologist and/or the Project Authority.
