To provide transportation services for protected records on behalf of the Cheque Redemption Control Directorate (CRCD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), consisting in the transportation of cheques issued by the Government of Canada, from the warehouse located on the Montreal Island, towards the CRCD offices based in Matane. These Cheques and related documents in bags are loaded in containers (cages).
In addition, other documents to pick-up at the same location, such as claimant report cards for the department of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) will sometimes be included in the same shipment.
This transportation service must also include the return of empty containers (cages) from Matane back to the warehouse, Montreal.
It is the intent to award one (1) Contract.
The period of the Contract is from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 inclusive.
There are security requirements associated with this requirement.
