MANDATE
Benthic macro invertebrate sampling of Lake of the Woods is being conducted by Environment Canada, to help build a collection of reference data to address relationships between biological condition and water quality from sites exposed to human activities, restoration as well as sites in reference condition. Samples for this contract were collected in September of 2013 (17 stations) and will be collected in September 2014. Total number of stations to be processed under this contract shall not exceed 40 stations, but may be less than total specified.
The service contract MUST be completed by March 31, 2015.
There is an option to renew the contract annually for an additional two years until March 31, 2017.
