For the supply and delivery of WHISTLE BALL, stainless steel or
nickel plated brass, single barrel, 2.5 inches long, 5/8 inches
in diameter, with eyelet on one end, complete with 6 inch LG
leather thong. Thong to be attached to whistle by rivet. Must
be manufactured in accordance with Sealed Pattern 594-76. NATO
Stock Number (NSN) 8465-21-104-7964.
As part of the technical evaluation, to confirm a bidder's
capability of meeting the technical requirements, one (1)
pre-award sample of the item will be required after the bid
closing date upon a written request from PWGSC. The requirement
for a pre-award sample may be waived if the Bidder has supplied
the item within the past three (3) years in accordance with the
latest specification.
Technical data shall be automatically issued to firms, under
separate cover, upon request for the bid documentation.
Therefore, it is imperative that this request for bid
documentation be done as soon as possible to ensure timely
receipt of the associated technical data. However, the Crown
shall not be held responsible for untimely release of technical
data, since the technical package and sealed patterns shall be
available for viewing at the following Department of Public
Works and Government Services Regional Offices: Montréal, QUÉ;
Québec, QUÉ; Mississauga, ON; Winnipeg, MB; Edmonton, ALTA. and
Vancouver, BC.
DELIVERY : All firm deliveries are requested to commence as
soon as possible but to be completed no later than 28 February
2013.
Quantities:
Firm: 1,000 units (qty 400 units for delivery to Canadian
Forces Supply Depot (CFSD) in Edmonton, Alta. and qty 600 units
for delivery to CFSD in Montreal, Que.).
Canada has the right to purchase optional quantites as follows:
Minimum of 200 units; Maximum of 1,000 units. The option may be
exercised in whole or in part.
