The Department of Defence, Canadian Forces Joint Signals Regiment (CFJSR), CFB Kingston, Ontario has a requirement for the provision of a quad band Satellite Simulator.
3 Sqn conducts training on a variety of SATCOM systems which operate on several bandwidths of the spectrum. As a result, the Sqn is required to request frequencies and bandwidth time for the respective system in order to be able to conduct the training. This frequency requests incur a significant cost to the unit which can be eliminated by the use of a quad band Satcom Simulator.
