This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement
of Department of National Defence (the "Client") for a Scale-out
NAS Data Storage Solution that will modernize its existing
storage infrastructure and to meet its current geospatial data
storage capacity needs in order to support the Canadian Forces
in Canada and overseas now and into the future. The requirement
includes the supply, delivery, installation, configuration,
documentation, provision of 3 years on-site warranty and
software support. It is intended to result in the award of a
contract for 5 years and will include the following:
The initial purchase of 648 Terabytes (648 TB) of raw storage
and archival capacity; and
An option to purchase up to an additional 1 Petabyte (1 PB)
within a period of 2 years from date of Contract, as and when
requested.
Delivery must be made on or before March 28, 2013 for the
initial purchase requirement.
