The Space Exploration Branch of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA)
requires an Instrument Scientist to provide Mission & Operations
Support for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) program at the
Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, Maryland
as part of a cooperative agreement with the National Aeronautics
and Space Administration (NASA) of the United States of America.
The Instrument Scientist is required to support testing and
ground-system development for the Near Infrared Imager and
Slitless Spectrograph (NIRISS) component of the Fine Guidance
Sensor (FGS) subsystem.
Work location is JWST S&OC at the Space Telescope Science
Institute, Baltimore, Maryland.
Bidders' propsal must not exceed the total budget of $164,000.00
USD.
The Instrument Scientist (JNIS) must be fluent in English.
