Fog Particle Spectrometer
Cloud Physics and Severe Weather Research Division, Environment Canada (EC), Toronto, ON requires the supply and delivery of one (1) Fog Particle Spectrometers. The Fog Particle Spectrometers must directly measure precipitation particle shapes and sizes. This will be used to better
understand the formation of aviation weather elements including freezing drizzle, fog, freezing fog, and ice fog that can a hazard to aircraft. The data can be used for model validation and forecasting fog.
All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2016.
There is an option to purchase an additional three units during the Period of the Contract.
