Government of Canada is moving its Government Electronic
Tendering Service from MERX to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders on June
1, 2013
Starting June 1, 2013, federal government tenders (tender
notices and bid solicitation documents) will be published and
available free of charge on a Government of Canada Web site on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
The Government Electronic Tendering Service on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders will be the sole authoritative source
for Government of Canada tenders that are subject to trade
agreements or subject to departmental policies that require
public advertising of tenders.

After June 1, 2013, all tenders and related documents and
amendments will be on Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
On June 1, 2013, suppliers must go to Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders

Requirement:
The National Research Council (NRC) has a requirement for the
supply, delivery, and installation of one (1) UV-Vis-NIR
Spectrophotometer to their location in Edmonton, AB.
The instrument must be delivered, fully assembled, installed and
tested by the Contractor(s) to ensure
proper operation. The Contractor(s) must provide on-site
training on the instrument's operation and routine maintenance
for a maximum of six persons for each instrument. Training is to
be conducted at the NRC Edmonton site.
The UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer must come with a minimum one
year warranty covering all parts, labour and software
updates/upgrades.
The instrument is requested to be on site as close to August
15th, 2013 as possible.
The requirement is subject to the provisions the North American
Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT),
Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), and the Canada-Peru
Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) .
